Multiple Generic Data Feeds
Pegasus 2008 includes multiple Generic Data Feeds, in addition to SCADA Numerics (Analogs,
Limits, Accumulators and Status Points), System Events, and SCADA Metadata. The first 2
Generic Data Feeds are Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and EMS Availability Monitoring.
Generic Data is available for viewing and export from the Pegasus Smart Client, with each set of
Generic Data presented in a separate set of Grids. All Generic Data Grids support sorting, clientside.
Just as with other Pegasus RDS™ data, Generic Data is “partitioned” by both Data Type and Time,
to insure maintenance-free storage of years of online data, with both exceptional write (as
Generic Data is captured) and read (from the PSC) performance.
