Web-Based Reporting From Pegasus RDM Apps
Pegasus 2008 includes a Status Exception Subsystem, StatusEX™, that mines 100% of SCADA
Status Points, in near real-time, to detect all Status Point changes, system-wide (all Geographical
Sites). Additionally, StatusEX™ mines System Events to also detect all Operator Actions related
to Status Point operation, as well as all Status Point Momentary Operations detected by SCADA
RTUs that occur between SCADA Scans.
All Status Point Exceptions, system-wide, are accessible as a set of high-performance Web
Reports, hosted on dual Pegasus Advanced Servers. These Reports support Data Drilldown as
well as Grouping and Sorting of Status Exceptions on several different criteria. Engineering
WebReports™ use Web 2.0 AJAX (to improve Web Page usability and reduce the number of
“round-trips” from the Web Browser to the Pegasus Servers), when users Group and Sort the
contents of Status Exception Reports.
Also scheduled for delivery in Pegasus 2008 is an additional Data Mining subsystem, AnalogEX™
that mines all Analogs violating their Limits. AnalogEX™ also detects Analogs that have “unusual
behavior” based on Adaptive Statistics. This additional data mining is expected to identify, in
many instances, Analogs that are likely to violate their limits well before they actually violate
their Limits as defined in the SCADA Database.
